Who we are

"Here for You, Here for God" - that's what we at Roehampton Methodist Church are all about.

We are a small but friendly group of ordinary people who have discovered that God’s love makes a difference to living. Most of us live on the Alton Estate and our church in Minstead Gardens has been seeking to serve the local community for the past 40 years since 1968.




Today with the appointment of an Urban Missioner, Keith Rowbottom, new initiatives are helping us to make that commitment to the Alton Estate relevant in 21st century. Our vision is to see the Alton Estate as a good place to live and for people to feel valued and loved, to re-discover hope and to find fullness of life through Jesus Christ.
