In an act of united witness the churches of St Joseph RC, Holy Trinity Anglican and Roehampton Methodist carry a 3m cross through the streets of Roehampton stopping on the way to declare the meaning of the death of Jesus.

Alton Community Picnic 2010
On Bank Holiday Monday, 31st May 2010, as part of National Family Week, we held the 2nd Alton Family Community Picnic on The Bull Green.

Some 600 people attended and enjoyed a variety of activities including bouncy castle (for all ages), face painting, field games and the fire engine.

The hope for the day was to join together to build community, make new friends and share the fun. We think it was successful. Check it out with photos below.

Roehampton Festival 2009
The Roehampton Festival was held over the weekend of 15/16 August 2009, celebrating 50 years of the Alton Estate.

Alton Community Picnic 2009
On 25th May we organized a community picnic for the Alton Estate as part of national Family Week. In doing so we participated in the attempt to set a new Guinness World Record for the largest number of people sat down at a picnic in multiple venues.
It was great fun, 296 people registered for the record attempt, but over 500 eventually gathered during the afternoon.
Face painting, a police van and fire engine and team games were all part of the day. Enjoy the photos.
